At approximately 9:15 AM this morning, according to Kern County Sheriff's Office, an armed robbery took place at El Tejon Mini Mart (1019 El Tejon Ave)
less than 1 mile from the Sheriff's Office on Norris Rd.(the closest convenience store)
The Sheriff's Office seeks help from citizens in identifying the suspects.
The suspect whom brandished a weapon and demanded money pictured below:
Sheriffs claim the suspect as having black with a light complexion, in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches and 200 pounds. He reportedly wore a green beanie cap, a green long-sleeved shirt, dark shorts, red and white striped gloves and dark tennis shoes.
(The male suspect has been identified as 22 years old Andre Markisce Leiva. He was booked for robbery with a firearm less than 5 days after being released on a separate charge. He spent some time in the California Rehabilitation Center in 2010.)

She is described as black and thin. She reportedly wore a green hooded sweatshirt and white pajama pants with a black logo pattern.
KCSO also reports a potential profile of the escape vehicle as a flat-black late 90's to early 2000's model Crown Victoria with license plate similar to "CA 7ELE310."
